Hawks Wrap Up Season Wining 2 of 3
The Rhino Hockey Training Atom Hawks wrapped up their Lakeshore League regular season by winning 2 of 3 games this past weekend.

On Friday the Hawks traveled to Cobourg to take on the Northumberland Nighthawks and could never really get the offence going and lost the game 4-1. Brendan Reid scored the lone goal.

On Saturday the Hawks would get a rematch with the Nighthawks and avenged the defeat from the previous day putting in a solid all around effort and getting a 5-3 win. Quinton Bogart led the offence with 2 goals while singles went to Connor Kokonas, Reid and Gavin Armstrong. Picking up assists were Jakob Harnest(2), Pearson MacDonald, Eli Kenney, Owen Vis and Matt Hicks. Cooper Martin was solid in net and picked up the win.

The Hawks traveled to Uxbridge on Sunday to wrap up the regular season against the North Durham Warriors. This was an offensive battle and the Hawks came out on the right end of a 7-6 score. Scoring for the Hawks were Reid(2), Connor Boates, Bogart, Tyson Gregory, Kokonas and Aiden Haker. Assists went to Gregory, Hicks, Boates, Colby Wiersma, MacDonald, Harnest, Kenney and Haker(2). Noah Groeneveld got the win in net.

The Hawks will open the OMHA playoffs this week in a round robin series against the Clarington Toros and the Northumberland Nighthawks. The schedule has not yet been set for the series.
