Hawks Drop Both Weekend Games
Submitted By Mike Boates on Sunday, September 30, 2018
The Rhino Hockey Training Atom Hawks lost a pair of games this weekend.

On Saturday they played host to the Whitby Widcats (Blue) and came out on the losing end of a 4-2 score in what was a very closely contested game. Scoring for the home team were Gavin Armstrong and Tyson Gregory. Assists went to Brendan Reid(2) and Cooper Martin. Martin was solid between the pipes and gave his team a chance to win.

On Sunday the Hawks fell behind in the second period and despite a few attempts to comeback the fell 6-3 to the Clarington Toros. Reid, Aiden Haker and Eli Kenney scored for the Hawks while assists went to Connor Boates(2), Connor Kokonas, Haker and Owen Vis.

The Hawks have only one game on the Thanksgiving weekend when they host the North Durham Warriors on Saturday.
