Hawks Fall to Wildcats and Toros
The Rhino Hockey Training Minor Atom Hawks suffered back to back defeats this weekend.
On Saturday the Hawks traveled to Whitby and after a strong first period the Wildcats took over and cruised to an 8-1 win. Connor Boates scored the lone goal for the Hawks.
On Sunday the Hawks had a much better effort but fell 4-3 to the Clarington Toros on a late goal. Tyson Gregory, Colby Wiersma and Quinton Bogart scored for the Hawks while assists went to Boates(2), Gavin Armstrong, Bogart and Matt Hicks.
The Hawks have only one game this weekend when they host the Kingston Canadiens on Sunday. They travel to Whitby next Tuesday take on the Wildcats (Blue).
