Hawks Drop Two Straight
The Rhino Hockey Training Minor Atom Hawks lost both games this weekend to even their record at 2-2.
On Saturday the Hawks came out fighting but could not keep up with the Whitby Wildcats (White) and fell 8-1. Tyson Gregory scored the lone goal for the Hawks. Alex Bisset took the loss in net.
On Sunday the Hawks traveled to Clarington and despite taking a 2-0 lead to the third they could not hold on and lost 3-2. Gregory and Connor Boates supplied the goals while Phoebe Mooney picked up an assist. Cooper Martin took the loss in net.
The Hawks are back in action this weekend as they have a rematch with Whitby on Saturday at home and the travel to Oshawa on Sunday to take on the Generals.
