Hawks started the tourney out on the right foot defeating Newmarket Redmen 3-0 with Seamus Killen picking up the shut out, scoring was done by Hailey Putman, Keenan Wiles and a real nice bar down. shot by Jacob Gardner, Shawn Jerret and Nate Shuttleworth picked up assist.
Game 2 saw the hawks run into a very hot goalie from Halton Hills and came out on the short end of a 2-1 loss, Daniel Mcleod scored the lone goal. Game 3 hawks came up against eventual tourney champions from ST Thomas and lost 4-0, hawks had many opportunities to find the back of the net but just couldn't finish. Hawks saved there best game of the tourney till there last one defeating Guelph Gryphons 3-0 with Killeen picking up his second shutout of the tourney. Dan Mcleod with 2 Ethan Osbourne with one and a helper lead the way. It was a great way to start the year , as all players played very hard threw out the tourney. Hawks start the season this Thursday in Kingston and play there home opener Sunday against there arch rival Uxbridge at 3pm.
