Hawks Split First Two Games Of OMHA Quarter-Final
The Klemencic Homes Atom Hawks split the opening two games of the OMHA Quarter-Finals against the Uxbridge Stars.

On Saturday in Uxbridge the Hawks got off to a quick start taking an early 1-0 lead but found themselves trailing 2-1 early in the second period before scoring four unanswered goals to take a 5-2 victory in game 1 of the series. Michael Dolton led the offence with 3 goals while Ben Davy and Eamonn Deery picked up the other markers. Assists went to Daniel McLeod, Geoffrey Boates and Justin Bolduc. Logan Vale was solid in net.

On Sunday The Stars were out to avenge the game one loss and they did just that. They pressured the Hawks from the drop of the puck and the home side could never get the offence going on route to a 5-0 loss to the upstart Stars.

The series resumes on Friday night in Uxbridge and game four will be in Trenton on Saturday at 2:30pm. Game 5 if necessary will be back in Uxbridge on Sunday.
