Quinte West Minor Hockey to Host Prestigious OHF Championship

It is with great honor and excitement that Quinte West Minor Hockey announces they have  been selected to host the Bantam Ontario Hockey Federation Championship in April 2020.

Following the success of the Juvenile Championship hosted in 2018, Quinte West Minor Hockey is looking forward to once again showcasing their community and their passion for hockey.  As the host organization, the Quinte West Bantam Hawks, sponsored by Madison Excavating, automatically earn their entry to the tournament against champions of the OMHA, Alliance League, Greater Toronto Hockey and the Northern Hockey League.

The Bantam Hawks are no stranger to playing in an OHF Championship, having earned their spot in the 2018 Peewee OHF Championship as OMHA Champions.  The team finished the tournament as finalists against the host team Erie North Shore Storm.

They had another successful season in 2019, finishing as OMHA Finalists in the Minor Bantam level against the Centre Wellington Fusion.

The OHF's are a pinnacle event for every minor hockey player from Atom-Juvenile and the Quinte West Hawks feel honored and privileged to be able to compete against the 5 best of the best teams in Ontario.

Quinte West Minor Hockey has one goal for the weekend and that is to provide a first class event that players, families and coaches will talk about in years to come
