Prep Skates available for players
interested in trying out for
a Quinte West representative team
Prep Skates are a requirement from the Ontario Hockey Federation (OHF) and are designed to allow players to work on skill development before the evaluation phase. Players are not required to attend Prep Skates, and attendance does not impact player eligibility to attend Player Evaluations. Additionally, players are not evaluated during this phase.
• Sessions are available for players interested in playing for first and second entry teams.
• All sessions are one hour in length and will be held at either Duncan Pad 1 in Trenton or Frankford.
• Please note, as per OHF Guidelines, only players who were registered and played with Quinte West Minor Hockey for the 2024-25 season are eligible to attend Prep Skates.
- Program Size: Maximum 26 players per age division.
- Cost*: $60 per player
*This program is sold as a session and is not available for individual skates. This program is not eligible for refunds.
- Payment: Please send payment by e-transfer to [email protected] and include your player's name and birth year in the transfer notes.
- Instructors: River Rats Hockey Ltd. and Real Edge Hockey
- Registration: Members must register through their Hockey Canada account.
