A remarkable story unfolded last evening, January 27th following a U13HL game at the Duncan Memorial Arena Pad 2.
Johnathon Tinney (Left) and Noah Lazarski (Right) both attend the same school in Trenton but play on opposing teams. One day at school Tinney recognized Lazarski's art talent . Tinney, amazed by a picture that Lazarski created, brought it home to show his mom and dad.
The Tinney family, impressed with Lazarski's artistic talent, decided to reach out to a friend to inquire about having Lazarski's art printed on a t-shirt to support the young artist.
Following Lazarski's game last evening, Tinney entered the dressing room to present Lazarski the t-shirt with his art printed on it, complete with a matching one for Tinney to show support of his friends talent.
A bond that was created over the game of hockey. A friendship that will last a lifetime because of the sport we all love. Even playing on opposing teams these two show sportsmanship amongst each other. A remarkable story that many will remember for years to come.
